THE CAT
I know a cat
that is quite fat.
It is covered with fur.
For anyone it will purr.
My cat has big green eyes;
as big as gooseberries in pies.
Just look at its face;
you will not find another anyplace.
It always climbs the door screen
so as to find what can be seen.
Do not ever lay down you cap;
for that is where it will surely nap.
Why this animal that is so fat,
could only be my cat.
