Blackberry Crisp 3 cups ripe, plump blackberries (rinsed) 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1 cup oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked) 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1/3 cup butter, melted Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place blackberries in a lightly greased baking dish. Combine flour, oats, sugar and butter, mixing well until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the berries. Bake in preheated oven about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with cream or ice cream. Makes 6 servings. Recipe courtesy of Marilynn Bell. |
